Transmission overview
Transmission is a fast, easy, and free multi-platform BitTorrent client.
Transmission sets initial preferences so things "just work", while advanced features like watch directories, bad peer blocking, and the Web interface can be configured with just a few clicks. It supports full encryption, file selection, a Web-based interface, groups, peer exchange, automatic port forwarding, webseeds, watch directories, tracker editing, global and per-torrent speed limits, and more.
Its code is freely available online and is licensed under either the GNU Public License v2 or the MIT License. The development team welcomes anyone who is interested in contributing code, documentation, translations, or other help.

Transmission folks have yet to fix the "Sort By Que." Apparently mo one uses this function but a couple of us. 8 months and nothing. Client is dead to me.

I abandoned Tran long ago. As noted by others, the condescending (disrespectful to users) attitude on the forums, lack of action on bugs, too long between releases. If multiplatform and free are important to you, suggest qBittorrent. qBittorrent = Active development, highly customizable, FAST, regular updates (granted Mac development lags, due to lack of Mac developers, but not lack of intent). And, oh yes, qBittorrent knows how to freakin sort.

25 Months... Two (2) Years and One (1) Month... and these folks still haven't fixed the Problems with the App. They have lotsa "Daily" Builds but can't seem to release any of them. Kinda pathetic.

It's been 1and half years and these Transmission folks still haven't fixed the "Sort By" function. I've been over at the forums a few times and there's been an Open Thread about this the entire time it hasn't worked, and yet... still nothing at all. And to make matters worse, there's a few Admin "Contributors" on the Forum who are real condescending jerks. People ask questions on these threads, and this one particular Tranny Admin will write 2 or 3 paragraphs explaining obliquely, how to find this information... rather than just answer the question simply, with a few words.
I used this fella's suggestions and the forum is set-up too complicated to get the answer that he is obviously too pompous to just answer.
